Q.    How do I contact someone if I have questions about classes?

 A. We are always available to answer any questions a perspective student might have.  Please feel free to email us or stop and watch a class.  The instructor will be more than happy to meet you and answer any questions you might have after class has ended.

 

  1. Who teaches the classes? 

A.     All classes offered are taught by the chief instructor who is a nidan (second degree black belt) through Aikido Schools of Ueshiba and Aikido Hombu dojo in Tokyo Japan.  On the very rare occasion that Imbuido Sensei is not teaching class a qualified dojo Sempai (senior student) with at least 7 years experience in aikido will lead class for the day.
 

        Q.    Why are your classes held at a community center? 

A.    First and foremost this allows us to keep class fees very low.  We try our best to make aikido training available to people of all economic levels.

This location also provides us the opportunity to really interact and reach many diverse sectors of our community.

 

Q.   Who is the average student in your dojo? 

A.    Our student body is very diverse.  We have young people, older folks, women, men, athletic people and not so athletic people.

             

   

Q.    Is it okay if I have previous aikido or other martial arts experience? 

A.    Absolutely, everyone is welcome.  We respect and appreciate those with prior experience.  Many folks come to us from various teachers and martial arts backgrounds.
